Application: Titanium Dioxide Production
In the manufacture of titanium dioxide, for both the sulphuric acid and the chloride processes, varying separation duties are successfully carried out using FUNDABAC® and CONTIBAC® filters.
	5 x 23m2 FUNDABAC® for conditioning of weak acid (50% H2SO4). Dry discharge of 15 tons of solids per filter per hour, with less than 20% residual moisture. Constructed with hard rubber lining and PVDF filter elements.
	148 m2 filter being delivered to production site. Filter is now operating very successfully and second order has been placed recently. Duty: Filtration, washing, reslurrying and discharge.
	Two 71 m2 filters for gipsum filtration in titanium dioxide production. Each filter discharges 4.5 to of solids per cycle. Cycle time: 30 minutes.
